Making reservations — Basics
A situation where you call a restaurant or hospital to make a reservation by stating the number of people, date, and time. Leave your name, ask if there's availability at the desired time, and confirm the reservation.

I'd like to make a reservation.
A table for four, please.
For restaurant reservations, it's 'a table for + number'. Just change the number of people.
For tomorrow at 7 o'clock, please.
For dates, use 'for + date', and for times, use 'at + time'. Put them together in order to complete the reservation time.
Please make it under (the name) Kim.
'under + name' means 'reserved under the name of ~'. It's used very often in reservations and lists.
Is there a table available at 6 o'clock?
Asking if there's availability at the desired time. 'anything' gives the feeling of '(empty) seats/times available'.
Can I confirm the reservation?
