Hotel check-in (intermediate)
A situation where the room is not ready yet, you arrived early, or there are many things you want to check like breakfast, Wi-Fi, or floor level. These are expressions to politely ask and confirm necessary information.

Could I check in early?
Since the room might not be ready, it's polite to gently inquire with 'Would it be possible ~?' instead of being assertive.
Could I get a room on a higher floor?
You can add 'with a view' or 'away from the elevator' to specify your preferences more clearly.
Is breakfast included?
What's the Wi-Fi password?
Could I leave my bags until the room is ready?
'Leave my bags' and 'store/hold my luggage' mean the same thing and are interchangeable.
Is a deposit or card registration required?
'Card on file' means registering a card in advance. Many hotels just hold a card instead of requiring a deposit.
