'Is there any chance of ~?' has a relaxed nuance of 'it would be nice if it happens, but it's okay if it doesn't', so it doesn't put pressure on them.
The rate I received online was a bit lower; could you check that?
You raise the rate difference non-aggressively with 'a bit lower' and 'could you take a look?'.
