A day when your preferences are clear. You include various options like size, milk, temperature, and syrup pumps in one sentence, adjusting sweetness and ice amount precisely, and substituting milk with an alternative.

For multiple options, connect them with commas in the order of [size + milk + drink] → [temperature] → [syrup/pump] to sound natural like a native speaker.
Can you make it less sweet?
Sweetness adjustment: less sweet / half the syrup / sugar-free. Conversely, to make it sweeter, say extra syrup.
Can I substitute oat milk for regular milk?
'sub A for B' means 'A instead of B' (sub = short for substitute). It's perfect for changing milk due to allergies or preferences.
Please add just a little milk.
'a splash of' means 'just a little bit'. It's perfect when adding a little milk to an Americano. A lot would be extra milk.
Please give me less ice.
Ice adjustment: light ice / no ice / extra ice. If you want to increase the drink amount, light ice is better.

Even with many options, as long as you follow the order, it won't get confusing: Size → Milk/Drink → Temperature → Syrup/Pump → Ice.
